Essential’s organic Chickpeas (aka garbanzo beans) are a very versatile ingredient used in Indian & Middle Eastern cuisine. They can be ground into flour to make chapattis or blended to make a creamy, wholesome houmous. Chickpeas are a rich source of vitamins, minerals and fibre, high in protein and they make an excellent alternative to meat in vegetarian and vegan dishes. Soak 8-12 hrs and use the same way you would use a can of chickpeas. Store in a cool, dry & hygienic; away from direct light & strong odours.
